  • Changes Revealed For 2013 Camaro Model Year

Since introducing the 5th generation Camaro back in the spring of 2009, General Motors has stayed on top of its 21st century muscle car by regularly introducing new features and special editions. Whether it be the Transformers Edition, the Synergy Green color, or now the ZL1 performance package, no one can accuse GM of sitting on its laurels as far as the Camaro goes.
Now, thanks to Camaro5, the upcoming changes for the 2013 model year have been revealed. New colors, new performance packages, and more high-tech features are on tap for the latest Camaro.
But first we should note that Imperial Blue Metallic is now gone, as are three wheel options (painted aluminum 18 and 20-inch models, and polished aluminum 20’s). Also the Convenience and Connectivity package is now standard on all 1LT and 1SS models. Speaking of which, the SS Performance Package includes 20-inch black-painted wheels and a 3:91 rear end gear ratio. Also, electric power steering is now standard on all SS models.
Also on deck for 2013 is a new Mojave leather interior option as well as the Chevrolet MyLink Touch, which includes a 7-inch color touchscreen infotainment system. And last but certainly not least – the Boss Mustang-fighter 1LE Road Race Package for the Camaro SS will be available starting in the 2013 model year.
There are even more new features coming for the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro, so check out the whole list and tell us…are there any features that you are still hoping to see?
